Remember, Remember

Remember, remember the fifth of November,
The gunpowder treason and plot,
I know of no reason
Why the gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.

It's tonight! Fireworks have already been going off randomly throughout the afternoon. I hope we get a good display tonight. I love watching the fireworks.

Although, I'd have to admit that fireworks are more of a summer thing for me than winter. I guess it roots from Maltese festi, watching the pretty fireworks by the sea in flip flops and a thin cotton dress, eating candy floss.

Note: a really good film to watch, if you fancy a themed evening, is V for Vendetta

I can't quite believe it's November. Sure I know it is, but it just doesn't seem to make sense! 2009, almost over? Impossible!

[I say this despite the fact that I've already ordered some Christmas decorations which arrived yesterday and I had to stop myself from hanging them up...]

I so so SO wish I could be in England for the fifth of November, just once. Everyone talks about it over here in the states, but there's no actual celebrations (obviously!).

You're funny. Hang the decorations in the beginning of November? I'm trying to forget that it is right around the corner!
